This position is primarily responsible for the budget/management pack process, including data integrity and process improvement. Applies modeling and analytical skills to help management monitor the business.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains audit reporting to confirm Hyperion data integrity. Includes data between Hyperion and other systems (i.e. JD Edwards, datawarehouse, BOSS, monthly sales reports, etc.) between Hyperion databases (i.e. Actual, Budget, Management Pack, etc.), and calculations within each Hyperion system (i.e. statistics, variances, and overall calculation on Hyperion reports).
  • Performs audit analysis of Hyperion management pack/budget to identify and correct “out of balance” variables and questionable assumptions.
  • Documents and tracks Hyperion questions from the field. Prioritizes, researches, and answers questions in a timely manner while keeping relevant parties in the loop regarding status.
  • Coordinates printing/distribution of periodic reports (i.e. Forecast books, Management packs, Budgets, etc.).
  • Creates and updates Hyperion training materials as appropriate.
  • Participates in the development of Hyperion projects.
  • Maintains FP&A calendar and intranet site.
  • Tracks key performance indicators monthly.
  • Continuously reviews current processes and reports for potential improvements.

Education & Experience

  • BBA/BS in Finance/Economics/Accounting preferred.
  • 2-5 years prior finance experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented to be involved in current management pack reporting and budget process.
  • Flexible to respond to, prioritize, and perform varying tasks as necessary.

Technical Knowledge & Experience

  • High level of Microsoft Excel knowledge. 
  • Hyperion and Essbase experience preferred. 

Physical Requirements

  • Typical office environment.
